Fender India is a branch of Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, Fender is one of the leading manufacturer of stringed instruments and amplifiers like electric guitars counting Telecaster and Stratocaster. Fender has headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona. Legendary Larry Thomas is Chief Executive Officer and James Broenen is Chief Financial Officer.

Photo Contest 2013 “Fenderholics”

The core motive behind running photo contest was to spread Brand Awareness through social media, So, with this zeal “Fender India” installed SocialAppsHQ’s Photo Contest App. Fans were asked to submit their original craziest/ wackiest photo with any Fender Product. A picture considered highly innovative will make them win a bag of  Fender goodies!

Challenges

The major challenge that every industry is facing around the world, is to strengthen hold on their target audience, and for the sake to win this race, Fender India decided to integrate our App on their Facebook Page.

Results

Fender India used this campaign successfully to increase brand awareness. Also, within a month, they have doubled their Facebook Fan base.

Number of Votes – 7,999

Increase in Likes – Over 7,000 (they had little less than 6,000 likes when they started campaign)
